Whitening Instructions

Read carefully before starting Billion Dollar Smile® professional teeth whitening system.

Carefully follow the Illustrated Instructions for gel application.

Gently floss and brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste such as Sensodyne.
Wear the whitening trays in your mouth for 7-14 days dependant on the level of whiteness you wish to achieve. Please refer to the time usage guide below for gel application. The percentage of gel will be indicated on the box and syringes. Wear trays only for recommended times; extending treatment times may result in faster whitening but can cause temporary tooth sensitivity. To maintain teeth after treatment repeat procedure for 2 sessions every 9-12 months. You can whiten your upper teeth and lower teeth at the same time. White fillings, porcelain composite restorations, crowns and veneers may not whiten at all or evenly with your natural teeth during this procedure.

Some people may experience mild to moderate teeth sensitivity, however, it normally subsides within 48 hours following completion of treatment. If problems such as teeth sensitivity or gum irritations are experienced, the frequency of use should be reduced to every other day and for half of the recommended times. Whitening sessions over a longer period of time will work with the same effect.

Do's

  • Refrain from eating and drinking during and for thirty minutes after treatment.
  • Avoid coffee, dark colas, red wine, and tobacco during treatment.
  • Store whitening tray in case provided when not in use.

Don't's

  • Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
  • Do not use for children under the age of 16.
  • Do not use if you have known peroxide allergies.
  • Do not use if you are a heavy smoker or excessive drinker.
  • Do not use if you have tooth ache, painful tooth sensitivity, loose veneers, loose crowns, loose fillings, loose bridges, gum disease or excessive gum recession. Consult your dentist.

First Aid Measures

Eye (contact): Flush opened with running water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Skin (contact): Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin and clothing with plenty of water.
Ingestion (more gel than used for one session): Do not induce vomiting, drink water/milk. Seek medical attention.

Handling and Storage

Replace caps immediately after use.
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C (35°F and 45°F).
Avoid heat and sunlight.
